This route borders three National and Provincial parks that compromise the largest protected wilderness area in the world.

  • The ride begins and ends in the coastal towns of Haines and Skagway, Alaska. The coastal temperate rainforest environment is known for giant Sitka Spruce and Western Hemlock trees blanketing the steep mountains from the sea up to the alpine.
  • The middle section of the ride crosses the Southern Yukon, with a drier landscape of boreal forest and stunning alpine lakes.
