Sockeye Cycle Co. retains the right to cancel a tour for any reason, in which case the customer will receive a full refund.

For day tour and rental cancellations:

• Tours cancelled more than 7 days before the activity will receive a full refund, minus 5% to cover booking and processing fees.
• Tours cancelled more than 48 hours, but less than 7 days before the activity will receive a refund of 50% of the total payment.
• Refunds are not available for tours cancelled within 48 hours of the activity.

Notes:

Guests traveling on a cruise ship or other form of transportation that is delayed or cancelled due to weather will be re-booked if possible or will be fully refunded.

Tours operate rain or shine but may be cancelled for extreme weather. Note that most of our tours take place in a temperate rainforest environment where overcast skies, fog, wind, and rain are all common. Tours will generally operate in normal wind and rain conditions and are only cancelled when weather conditions create a safety issue. If Sockeye Cycle is operating a tour, a weather-related refund is not available.

For rental reservations, weather related cancellations are available only if tour operations are also cancelled.

For multiday tour reservations:

A deposit of $500 per person is due upon booking to reserve your space. This payment is refundable, minus a $100 processing fee, if cancelled more than 90 days from the start of the tour. 

For confirmed tours, we will invoice for the total due 90 days from the start of the tour. Full payment is due 60 days before the start of the tour. 

For cancellations 60-90 days prior to the tour, the $500 deposit is non-refundable, but any other payment toward the tour can be refunded.

Cancellations made between 21 and 60 days before the start of the tour are eligible for a 50% refund. No refunds are available for cancellations less than 21 days from the start of the tour.
