Rental FAQ’s

What is included with a rental?

The rental includes the bike you choose and a helmet. A bike lock and repair kit is also included if requested. All of our bikes come with flat pedals, but our specialty bikes have the option for foot cages or SPD clips. You can also bring your own pedals and shoes.

Do I need to make a reservation for a rental bike?

It depends what type of schedule you are on, and what bike you want. We generally do have bikes available at both our locations for walk-in customers. On busy days, we can run low on bikes, especially from around 10am – 2pm. Though we have a large selection of bikes, if you need a specific size, or want to make sure a specific type of bike is available, we suggest making a reservation.

What if I don't know what time I want to pick up the bike?

Our full day rental means the bike is yours all day. We’ll put your name on it and you can pick it up and return it anytime during our open hours. Our full-day rate is comparable to the price of renting by the hour for about 4 hours, so you aren’t paying much more to have access to the bike all day. If you just want to stop by for a short rental at some point during the day, we suggest just stopping in our shop when you arrive and renting on the spot.

Do you have family options?

We have a small selection of kids sized bikes with 20″ or 24″ wheels. Bikes are not equipped with training wheels. For smaller children we have enclosed trailers or trail-a-bikes. Each are $20 for the duration of an adult bike rental. Reservations are recommended for large families.

What is your cancellation and refund policy?

Payment in full is required to confirm the booking. Please contact us if you need to make a cancellation.

  • Reservations are fully refundable if cancelled 30+ days before booking date.
  • Reservations will receive a 90% refund if cancelled 8-30 days before booking date.
  • Reservations are not refundable within a week of the booking date.

If you are visiting on a cruise ship that has a change in itinerary due to weather or other reasons, we will re-book you if possible or offer a refund.
