Head out for a World Class ride on the Dyea Road with incredible coastal scenery.

This ride starts out on pavement and switches to gravel as you cruise up and down rolling hills hugging the coastline. The Dyea (pronounced Dy – EE) Road provides dramatic views of the Lynn Canal framed with soaring mountains and glistening glaciers. Take in our rich rainforest flora with a chance to see wildlife including eagles, seals, and bears. Continue into the Dyea Townsite for a look into the past as you ride by the informational signs that describe the former gold rush boomtown. Past the townsite, you can ride all the way to the tidal flats for sweeping views. The Dyea Road can be ridden for 10+ miles one way.

Restrictions and Notes: This is a suggested route while you rent a bicycle – it is not a guided tour. Waivers are required. Alaska Law requires a basic drivers license to operate an e-bike. E-bike rentals are not available for riders under 16 years old. Paper maps are available upon pickup. Helmets are provided. Bike locks available upon request.
