Hit the trail and spend your afternoon on a bike in the rainforest!

Yakutania Point: Head to the Skagway Airport and cross the Skagway River on the pedestrian bridge following signs for Yakutania Point. You can choose your own adventure through the various looped trails that open up at Yakutania Point or Smuggler’s Cove for great views from the shore.

Lower Dewey Lake: For a bigger challenge, hike a bike up the Lower Dewey Trail System using the service road and get some loops in around the lake stopping for a quick dip on a hot day. More riding can be found from the various spurs off the lake.

AB Mountain: Our biggest and baddest mountain biking can be found on AB Mountain. Head to the Skagway Airport and cross the Skagway River on a pedestrian bridge. Turn left after the bridge and continue until you see a gravel road on your right-hand side. Head up on the service road until you reach the Dyea Rd. Turn left on the Dyea Rd and keep your eyes peeled for the AB Mountain Trailhead sign. From here, there’s nowhere to go but up! This trail requires you to hike your bike up and provides an exhilarating ride down.  Note: AB Mountain is rated Double Black Diamond

Restrictions and Notes: This is a suggested route while you rent a bicycle – it is not a guided tour. Waivers are required. Alaska Law requires a basic drivers license to operate an e-bike. E-bike rentals are not available for riders under 16 years old.
