Do I need to make a reservation for a rental bike?

It depends what type of schedule you are on, and if you want a specific bike. We generally do have bikes available at both our locations for walk-in customers. On busy days, we can run low on bikes, especially from around 10am – 2pm. Also, though we have a large selection of bikes, if you need a specific size, or want to make sure a specific type of bike is available, we suggest making a reservation.

What if I don't know when I want to pick up the bike?

Our full day rental means the bike is yours all day. We’ll put your name on it and you can pick it up at 9am, 1pm, or whenever you want. Our full-day rate is generally comparable price to renting by the hour for about 4 hours, so you aren’t paying much more to know that the bike will be waiting for you. If you just want to stop by for a couple of hours at some point during the day, we suggest just stopping in our shop when you arrive and renting on the spot.

What is your refund and cancellation policy?

For rental bikes, we take payment upon reservation. It is up to you to choose when you want to rent and how long you want to rent for. We are not able to refund ‘unused’ time if you return the bike early.

We do accept cancellations and will refund 90% of the rental rate if we receive notice of your cancellation 7 days or more before the rental was scheduled to begin. We will refund 50% of the rental rate if we receive more than 48 hours notice of the cancellation. Rentals cancelled less than 48 hours before the start of the rental, or no-shows are not eligible for refunds.
